# Unstructured Transform billing

> Learn how to get information about how Unstructured calculates your usage and billing for Transform, how to upgrade to a Pay-As-You-Go plan, and other related usage and billing information.

## Usage and billing calculations

* Unstructured Transform does not bill your first 10,000 pages. Unstructured applies this 10,000-page credit once per account.
* After the first 10,000 pages, Unstructured bills you each calendar month at a rate of \$0.015 per page processed. [Learn about how pages are determined](#how-pages-are-determined).
* After the first 10,000 pages, future page processing requests will begin failing unless you have upgraded to a Pay-As-You-Go plan. [Learn how to upgrade](#upgrade-to-a-pay-as-you-go-plan).

## Get usage and billing details

1. Sign in to Unstructured Transform, if you have not already done so, at [https://transform.unstructured.io](https://transform.unstructured.io)
2. If the **Billing** page is not visible, on the sidebar, click **Billing**.

## Upgrade to a Pay-As-You-Go plan

1. Sign in to Unstructured Transform, if you have not already done so, at [https://transform.unstructured.io](https://transform.unstructured.io)
2. If the **Billing** page is not visible, on the sidebar, click **Billing**.
3. Click **Upgrade to Pay-As-You-Go**.
4. Follow the on-screen directions to enter your credit card information.

## How pages are determined

Unstructured calculates a page as follows:

* For these file types, a page is a page, slide, or image: `.pdf`, `.pptx`, and `.tiff`.
* For `.docx` files that have page metadata, Unstructured calculates the number of pages based on that metadata.
* For all other file types, Unstructured calculates the number of pages as the file's size divided by 100 KB.
* For non-file data, Unstructured calculates a page as 100 KB of incoming data to be processed.
